Sara Jane Hess

Sara Jane Hess has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sara Jane currently serves as the Director of People Operations at Propagate and has been in this position since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at SPI Media as the Director of Operations from February 2022 to January 2023. Sara Jane also held roles such as Senior Podcast Producer, Podcast Producer, and Partnerships Manager at SPI Media from 2019 to 2022.

Before SPI Media, Sara worked as a Business Manager at Winning Edits in 2018 and as an Operations Manager and Operations Associate at Rocket Code from 2016 to 2017. Sara Jane started their career at Apple, where they worked as a Genius from 2013 to 2016, providing technical support and customer service.

In addition to their full-time roles, Sara has freelanced as a Project Manager and Social Media Strategist, working with clients such as Bluegrass Hospitality Group and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky from 2012 to 2014. Sara Jane also gained experience as an Interactive Project Manager and Social Media Specialist at Cornett Integrated Marketing from 2011 to 2012.

Sara began their career as a Barista at Starbucks Coffee Company in 2006 before transitioning into an internship role as a Communications Intern at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass in 2009. In this role, they managed social networking platforms, organized fundraising events, and maintained historical documents.

Sara Jane Hess obtained a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Strategic Communication from the University of Kentucky between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they studied Media Communications at Asbury University from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Sara has a background in Art History from the American University of Rome. Sara Jane also holds certifications, including a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI, obtained in October 2022, and a Mac Certification, institution and date of completion unknown.
