Brian A. Pollok

Brian Pollok is an accomplished biotechnology leader and educator with extensive experience in various roles across academia and industry. Currently serving as an Independent Board Director at InVivo Biosystems and a Visiting Professor at the University of Virginia, Brian teaches biotechnology to graduate students and conducts courses for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Previously, Brian was the founder and CEO of Propagenix Inc., overseeing the company’s strategic initiatives and its acquisition by STEMCELL Technologies. Additional roles include serving as President at ATCC, Chief Scientific Officer at Life Technologies, and various leadership positions at Ansata Therapeutics and Aurora Biosciences/Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and has made significant contributions to research and development in the biotechnology sector.
