Ian W.

Ian W. has held various positions in the finance industry since 2002. Ian began their career as an Investment Assistant at Kerry Holdings Limited in 2002. In 2005, they became the Head of Trading at Sofaer Global Research (HK). In 2017, they were appointed as the Managing Director, Head of Asset Management at Central Wealth Asset Management Limited. In 2018, they took on the roles of Chief Executive Officer at Sfund International Asset Management Limited and Investment Director at Sfund International Investment Fund Management Limited. In 2022, they were named Director at Hexa Asset Management Limited. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Propcap Technologies Limited as a Co-Founder, where they are part of the Hong Kong Cyberport Incubation Program and is involved in providing multinational financial mortgage products to customers by matching borrowers and lenders internationally.

Ian W. has a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, where they majored in Finance & Management Information Systems. Ian has also taken courses at Simon Fraser University. Ian W. has obtained four certifications, including the MHKSI from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute in November 2022, Advising on Securities (Type 4) - Responsible Officer from the Securities and Futures Commission in 2008, Asset Management (Type 9) - Responsible Officer from the Securities and Futures Commission in 2008, and Advising on Futures Contracts (Type 5) - Responsible Officer from the Securities and Futures Commission in 2008.
