Gavin Dowding

Gavin Dowding has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Gavin started their career at ING Direct UK in 2006 as a Workforce Analyst. Gavin then joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2007 as a Solution Developer. In 2009, they moved to AMEC, where they served as both a MI Compliance Officer and a Records Manager. In 2013, they joined Brightside Group plc as a Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Manager. Gavin then moved to Wales & West Utilities in 2014, where they held the position of Business Intelligence Manager. In 2015, they joined Sorenson Media as a Data Visualization Specialist. Currently, Gavin is working at Propel Finance, initially joining as the Head of Data in 2016, then transitioning to the role of Head of Technology until March 2021. Presently, they hold the position of Director of Digital & Product at Propel Finance.

Gavin Dowding attended Sheffield University from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Creative Music Technology. Gavin obtained additional certifications in Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The exact months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
