Janel played a pivotal role in building and transforming the company's finance function, handling various responsibilities including full-cycle accounting, compliance, HR, payroll, legal, and administration. Prior to Propel, Janel held positions in financial coordination, treasurer roles, and as a financial advisor, showcasing their proficiency in managing accounts, budgets, payroll, and vendor contracts. Janel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce with honours in Accounting and Finance from Ryerson University.
