John Sims

John Sims is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive experience in delivering innovative risk solutions to the senior care and healthcare industries. As the National Practice Leader for Senior Care at Propel Insurance since July 2020, Sims oversees a robust team dedicated to serving over 350 operators and senior care capital institutions, specializing in a wide range of insurance services including liability, property insurance, and risk management. Prior to Propel Insurance, Sims held the position of Vice President and Producer at TIS Insurance Services, Inc. from 2008 to July 2020, where focused on creative risk solutions for healthcare providers. Additionally, Sims served as a Sales Consultant at Brentwood Services Administrators, Inc. in 2007-2008, offering third-party claims handling solutions. Educational credentials include a degree in Finance and Business Administration from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, alongside prior education at Miami University and Webb School of Knoxville.
