Stephanie Gargone

Stephanie Gargone is an experienced educator currently serving as an English Language Arts Teacher at Propel Schools since August 2021 and as a 4th and 5th Grade ELA Teacher at Promise Schools since August 2016. Stephanie’s prior experience includes being a Corps Member with Teach For America, where responsibilities included educating students on educational inequity and creating awareness about diversity in classrooms. Additional roles include an internship at Sarah Heinz House focusing on program development for low-income communities, a research assistant position at the University of Pittsburgh, and mentoring first-year students. Stephanie holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
