Abhishek Semwal (he/him)

Abhishek Semwal has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Abhishek currently serves as a Solutions Architect at Propel since 2021. Previously, they worked at EtQ for a significant period, starting as an Implementation Consultant from 2013 to 2015. Abhishek then progressed to the role of Senior Implementation Consultant from 2015 to 2018, managing a yearly implementation portfolio over $2M and playing a dual role as a Manager within EtQ and a Senior Product Consultant for customers. From 2018 to 2021, they held the position of Manager, Professional Services at EtQ, where they served as a key advocate for departmental practice optimizations.

Prior to that, Abhishek worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Eller College of Management, University of Arizona, in 2012. Here, they worked on a research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and was responsible for data extraction, cleansing, and transforming from multiple DataWarehouses.

Earlier in their career, Abhishek worked at Quinnox from 2009 to 2011 as a Senior Consultant, where they served as an Offshore Lead for integration teams in Bangalore, India. Abhishek led the end-to-end management of systems, hired and trained employees, and provided technical support for production applications. Abhishek also worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Programming Analyst from 2007 to 2009, specializing in healthcare claims and files for United Health Group. Abhishek maintained interfaces and served as the module owner for the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

Abhishek Semwal, who goes by he/him, has a diverse educational background. Abhishek pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of Information Systems at the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Abhishek completed their Higher Secondary education at St. Josephs Academy, specializing in Science, during the period from 1993 to 2003.

Additionally, Abhishek obtained two valuable certifications. In September 2007, they earned the Sun Certified Java Programmer, platform 1.4 certification from Sun Microsystems. Later, in March 2014, they received the ITIL Foundation Certificate from The APM Group Limited (APMG).
