Daniel Hurst is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Propel Ventures since June 2025. Prior to this role, Daniel was the Managing Director for ClearRoute in Australia from August 2023 to June 2025 and held various leadership positions at Contino, a Cognizant Company, from April 2017 to August 2023, including Partner - Digital and Practice Director for Enterprise DevOps Transformation. Experience also includes serving as Partner & DevOps Practice Lead at Phi Partners, Consulting Lead at Xceed Group, and Project Lead at First Data Corporation, where significant contributions were made to payments processing and infrastructure projects. Daniel has a foundation in software development from earlier roles at IBM, HCF Australia, Atlassian, and Smiths Snackfoods, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from UNSW, completed in 2007.
