Guilherme Maia

Guilherme Maia is currently a Senior Service Designer at Propelland. Prior to this, they were a Service Designer at Harmonic Design from April 2021 to November 2021. Before that, they were an Innovation Leader at Icatu Seguros from February 2016 to July 2018, where they were responsible for developing strategic projects to improve financial products - such as life insurance and private investments - processes and services through Design Thinking, as well as innovative tools and methodologies. Guilherme also conducted field research, identified and reported market trends and customer needs, organized and led creative workshops, and managed projects with multidisciplinary teams. Prior to that, they were an Innovation Designer at MJV Innovation from May 2015 to February 2016. Before that, they were a Designer Partner at estúdio pictograma from January 2009 to January 2015. Guilherme has also been an innovation consultant and master’s student entrepreneur since August 2018.

Guilherme Maia has an MBA in Strategic Design from ESPM - School of Advertising and Marketing, a Bachelor in Graphic Design from UFRJ - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and a Master of Arts - MA in Design Management from Savannah College of Art and Design.
