John Butler, CISSP, CIPM, has over 20 years of experience in IT operations and services. John is currently the Director of IT Operations at Propelled Brands, where they oversee the development and growth of multiple franchise brands in various industries. Prior to that, they served as the Director of IT Services at Corner Bakery Cafe from 2015 to 2017. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as an IT Service Solutions Manager at FRIDAYS. Earlier in their career, John was the Director of IS Support Services at Brinker International, where they led multiple technical support teams and provided support services to corporate team members, franchise locations, and employees.
John Butler has a B.A. degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas. John also obtained an M.S. degree in M.A.S. IT Management & Consulting from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², HDI Certified Support Center Manager from HDI, ITIL v3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) from the PCI Security Standards Council.
