Christopher Louis

Christopher Louis has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Christopher began their career in 2001 at Encore Credit Corp, where they served as a Sr. Account Manager, overseeing customer accounts and leading sales teams. In 2001, they also joined Bear Stearns as a Senior Corporate Trainer/Project Manager, responsible for managing a team of trainers and overseeing operations development. Christopher played a pivotal role in creating and implementing training materials for internal and external staff, as well as traveling nationally to conduct training seminars.

In 2009, Louis joined PERL Mortgage Inc. as the V.P. of Closing. In this role, they were responsible for day-to-day operations within the closing and funding department. Christopher reported directly to the COO and managed a team of Closers, Funders, and TRID staff. Their responsibilities included charting and reporting on all aspects of 2015 TRID, closing, funding, and collateral shipping. Christopher successfully led the team to meet incoming production volume.

Louis continued their career progression in 2019, transitioning to Homeside Financial as a Closing Manager. Christopher held this role for the entirety of 2019 before moving on to Proper Rate, where they currently serve as the SVP of Closing, starting in December 2019.

Christopher Louis attended York Community High School from 1993 to 1997. After completing high school, they went on to attend Illinois State University from 1997 to 2001. At Illinois State University, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
