Joe Burke

Joe Burke has over 20 years of work experience in the mortgage lending industry. Joe currently serves as the Senior VP of Mortgage Lending at Proper Rate, a company that offers high-end, boutique service backed by innovative technology. Prior to joining Proper Rate, Joe worked at Guaranteed Rate for 10 years, holding various positions including Senior VP of Mortgage Lending. Joe also served on the Board of Directors Executive Committee at the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in their career, Joe worked as a Loan Officer and Mortgage Consultant at PNC Mortgage and as a Sales Manager at Lakeshore Funding, Inc. Joe also had a brief stint as a recruiter at Onsite Staffing. Joe's experience also includes serving as the Vice President of Green Environmental Management, where they successfully managed waste and recycling programs for clients such as Walgreen's.

Joe Burke attended St. Mary's of Buffalo Grove from 1980 to 1988. Joe then went on to Buffalo Grove from 1988 to 1992, during which they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following that, they attended Winona State University from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in History, with a focus on History and Political Science.
