Melissa Ward is the Innovation Director at PROPER SNACKS, where they lead the design of new snacks across various brands. They previously served as Head of Product Development at Marks and Spencer from 2014 to 2019, and at Amazon from 2019 to 2022, where they were involved in launching the first 'Just Walk Out' stores outside the US. Melissa began their career at The Co-operative Group as a graduate trainee and progressed through multiple roles. They hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Food & Grocery Industry Management from The University of Edinburgh and are currently pursuing an Essential Cooking Certificate with Distinction from Leiths School of Food & Wine.
