John Arends

As the Wairarapa Regional manager, John oversees the salespeople in provincial Wairarapa. He loves that the Wairarapa has a provincial flavour with diverse aspects including agriculture, viticulture, and wine industries and for being a great place to live countryside.

John has worked for Property Brokers since 2002, starting by transacting rural property in his hometown of Pahiatua in the Northern Tararua and achieved the company's 'Rookie of the Year" award in his first year. Since 2008 John has combined sales with management of the Pahiatua and Woodville offices. 2022 saw a move to the Wairarapa to manage and grow the Wairarapa business and provides the Wairarapa region his experience and expertise in Rural, Commercial, Residential and Property Management sectors of the industry. AREINZ qualified, previous to Property Brokers, John worked as a commercial pilot in NZ and overseas, mainly in agricultural aviation where he is still actively involved in governance for a local aviation Co-operative, as well as active involvement in several community and industry groups.
