Kunal Moktan

Kunal Moktan is the Co-Founder & CEO at Property Share. Kunal was previously an Investment Professional at Blackstone Real Estate Partners from April 2007 to July 2014.

At Blackstone, Kunal was responsible for complicated financial modelling, making investment committee memos, conducting financial, operational, legal and structure diligence, executing investment documentation (SHA, SPA, IA), funding, asset management and exit. Some of the assets Kunal purchased include 12.5 mn sf Manyata Business Park (Bangalore), 116 acre Embassy Tech Village (Bangalore), 3.3 mn sf Embassy Golf Links (Bangalore), 4.4 mn sf EON Business Park (Kharadi, Pune), 1.1 mn sf Panchshil Tech Park (Pune), DLF Ackruti Business Park (Hinjewadi, Pune), Four Seasons Hotels and Residences (Bangalore), 2.2 mn sf Lake Terraces (Bangalore), 1.1 mn sf 24/7 Business Park (Vikhroli, Mumbai), 0.9 mn sf Express Towers (Nariman Point, Mumbai) among others.

Nature of regulation and transactions required Kunal to work on various complicated capital structures ranging from debt, equity, convertibles and mezzanine and instruments including Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs), compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPs)

Kunal Moktan attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, where they earned their MBA in finance. Kunal also holds a B.Com (Hons) from St. Joseph's College of Commerce, where they studied accounting, finance, investments, and economics. Kunal Moktan attended high school at St. Joseph's College in the School dept., where they studied science, accounting, mathematics, and economics.
