Ian Rasmussen

Ian Rasmussen is a prominent figure in zoning consultancy and land use law, serving as the Founder of Urban Cartographics since March 2009. This consultancy specializes in the NYC development approval process, focusing on efficient project approvals and navigating zoning challenges. Additionally, Ian currently advises PropertyScout, which provides instant zoning analyses for NYC properties. Ian has also contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Brooklyn Law School and NYU’s Real Estate graduate program since 2014, sharing expertise in land use and zoning. Prior experience includes roles as a Land Use Attorney at The Law Offices of Marvin B. Mitzner and Eric Palatnik P.C.
