Mario Peng

Mario Peng is the CEO and Co-Founder of PropertyScout. Mario has over 10 years of experience in the finance and tech industries.

Peng started their career as an intern at Credit Suisse in 2007. Mario then worked as an analyst at Bank Vontobel AG from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Partners Group as an investment associate and was responsible for direct private equity investments.

In 2013, Peng co-founded HotelQuickly, a mobile hotel booking platform in South East Asia. Mario served as the company's CFO and COO and was responsible for raising USD 12m in 3 rounds, acquiring Japanese hotel booking app Tonight, and eventually selling HotelQuickly to Rising Sun Group in 2017.

Peng has been with PropertyScout since 2018. Mario is responsible for overseeing the company's fundraising, finance, and business intelligence.

Mario Peng earned their Master of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of St.Gallen. Mario also completed an exchange semester in MBA at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and an exchange semester in Business Administration at Western Colorado University. Mario holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen, and an exchange semester in Business Administration from Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST). Mario Peng also attended Bündner Kantonsschule Chur.
