Arashi Shimizu

Arashi Shimizu is a Research and Development Engineer at ProPetro Services, Inc. since May 2022. Previously, Arashi served as a Supplemental Instructor at The University of Texas Permian Basin from January 2021 to May 2021, where responsibilities included planning activities to enhance freshman-level Graphics classes, demonstrating proficiency in engineering drawing systems and CAD. Prior to this role, Arashi worked as an Operations Control Center Agent for Swissport Japan Ltd. from April 2019 to August 2020. Arashi earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas Permian Basin, graduating in May 2022, and holds a previous Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed in May 2018. Education also includes attendance at Midland College from 2015 to 2017.
