Emer Doherty is a retired professional with extensive experience in clinical operations and project management within the biopharmaceutical industry. They held several senior roles at ICON plc from 2008 to 2010, including Senior Project Director and Sr Director of Clinical Risk Management. Prior to that, Emer served as Associate Director of Clinical Operations and Global Study Manager at GSK from 2004 to 2007. After contributing as Senior Director of Clinical Development Operations at Theravance Biopharma Ireland from 2020 to 2022, they currently hold the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations Europe at ProPharma Group. Emer earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 1990.
