Wieteke Direcks

Wieteke Direcks is a seasoned professional in pharmacovigilance with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a QPPV senior consultant at ProPharma since February 2023, Wieteke has previously held positions at Eurocept International B.V. and Eurocept B.V. as EU-QPPV and Manager of Pharmacovigilance from July 2019 to January 2023. Prior to this, Wieteke was a Manager of Pharmacovigilance at Eurocept from April 2018 to January 2023 and held dual roles at Synthon as Head of Drug Safety Compliance and Pharmacovigilance Manager from July 2008 to March 2018. Wieteke's academic background includes a Doctorandus degree in Chemistry from Utrecht University, completed between 1996 and 2003, and a doctoral researcher position at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam/VUMC from November 2003 to 2008.
