Josie Thorpe

Josie Thorpe has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Josie began their career as a Conference Manager - Intern at the Junior Researcher Programme, where they planned and coordinated events and meetings for interns and attendees. Josie also served as the Point of Contact during a 3-day conference.

Josie then worked as an Account Coordinator at Kicking Cow Promotions, where they facilitated the planning and execution of 94 events, including tours and one-day productions. Josie implemented a new process for tracking the completion of creative projects.

After that, Josie joined Adaptive Solutions Group as a Technical Recruiter, where they sourced candidates for various IT positions and utilized platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and Bullhorn. Josie also called potential candidates to source for jobs.

Josie then moved on to Shamrock Trading Corporation as a Corporate Recruiter, sourcing candidates for IT, Sales, and Operations roles. Josie acted as the sole technical recruiter on the team and served as a liaison between hiring teams and agencies.

Currently, Josie is working at Propio Language Services as a Talent Acquisition Partner. Josie sources candidates for positions ranging from entry level to C-Suite across various departments. Josie is the sole Corporate Recruiter for the company and has created and implemented a recruiting process to improve hiring efficiency.

Josie Thorpe attended Rockhurst University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology.
