Jean Laurent

Jean Laurent has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Jean is currently working as the Head of Sales at ProPlanner since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ProPlanner as a Construction Technologist - Account Executive from September 2021 to June 2022. Before joining ProPlanner, Jean worked at DPR Construction from September 2017 to August 2021 as a Build Great Things. Jean co-founded Buildiz in 2016 and served as a Co-Founder until January 2019. Jean also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University from January 2016 to July 2017, where they focused on developing research related to Integrated Project Delivery and improving team performance. Additionally, they gained experience as a Construction Intern at Bozzuto from June 2016 to September 2016 and as a Project Engineer at Laurent & Fils from May 2012 to July 2015, where they worked on various construction projects and developed estimations for proposals. Jean also served as a Project Engineer at B.E.T.A.C in April 2013 and worked as a Laborer at Laurent & Fils in June 2011.

Jean Laurent has a strong educational background in engineering and construction. Jean obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours in Civil Engineering at the University of the West of Scotland from 2013 to 2015. Jean also holds a Diplome Universitaire de Technologie in Civil Engineering from the University of Montpellier, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Before entering university, Jean completed their secondary education at Lycée Charles Gide, graduating with a Baccalauréat Scientifique in Sciences in 2011.

Jean holds a Certified Instructor - Certificate of Management - Lean Construction (CM-Lean) from AGC, which they obtained in May 2019.
