Desiree Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Desiree began their career in 2000 as an Office Manager at Yocca, Patch & Yocca LLP. In 2004, they transitioned to the role of Human Resources Director at Trovata. Desiree then joined Proponent in 2007 as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, and over the years, they held various positions including Corporate Communications Manager and Director of Marketing and Communications. Their most recent role at Proponent was as the VP of Human Resources, starting in September 2019.
Desiree Garcia obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from American InterContinental University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. In October 2020, they received the Global Professional in Human Resources® (GPHR®) certification from HRCI. Furthermore, in July 2021, Desiree earned a certification in Business Ethics for Managers and Leaders from LinkedIn.
