Jean-Michael Diei

Jean-Michael D. is the Co-Founder and CEO of PropRise, a company focused on leveraging AI for self-storage development insights, since June 2023. Jean-Michael D. has been a GEM Fellow at The National GEM Consortium since 2019, advocating for underrepresented groups in engineering and science. Previous experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Stripe, responsible for model implementation and improvement, and as a Perception Intern at Embark Trucks, where software engineering and deep learning were utilized for self-driving technology. Jean-Michael D. has also held multiple intern positions at Lam Research and Microsoft, contributing to projects in algorithm data science and software engineering. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Honors from Purdue University. Currently, Jean-Michael D. is involved with Y Combinator as part of the 2023 cohort.
