David Wortmann

David Wortmann is an accomplished Managing Director and Founder of DWR eco GmbH, a consulting agency specializing in clean technologies and sustainability since May 2012. In addition to this role, David has been involved with several prominent organizations, including the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) as a member of the Coalition for Action, and the Energy Watch Group as a board member. David also co-founded Leaders for Climate Action and plays a pivotal role at the Arts & Nature Social Club as a co-founding board member. Furthermore, David serves as a venture partner at PropTech1, a senior policy and market advisor/investor at Planet A Ventures, and chair of the advisory board at Global Eco Transition gGmbH. Recent activities include advisory roles at Climate Tech Talents and EcoWert360° GmbH, focusing on climate-neutral energy solutions. David holds a Diplom in Sprachen, Wirtschaft und Kulturraumstudien from Universität Passau and has pursued exchanges at Universidad de Córdoba and the University of Wales, Cardiff.
