Abrahm Lustgarten

Abrahm Lustgarten is an accomplished journalist and educator with extensive experience in the field of reporting and writing. Currently, Lustgarten serves as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley and as an Emerson Collective Fellow at New America. Since 2008, Lustgarten has held the position of Senior Reporter at ProPublica. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at the University of Oregon, and Reporter at Fortune magazine. Early career highlights include positions as Managing Editor at Asimba.com, Editor at Climbing Magazine, and Reporter at Glenwood Post. Lustgarten began professional training in journalism at Newsweek as an intern. Education credentials include a graduate degree from Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Cornell University.
