Charles Ornstein

Charles Ornstein is the managing editor of local news at ProPublica. Charles was previously the deputy managing editor, and before that they were a senior editor and senior reporter at ProPublica. Charles also worked as a reporter at the Los Angeles Times and the Dallas Morning News. Charles began their career as a media fellow at the Kaiser Family Foundation and then became the executive editor of The Daily Pennsylvanian.

Charles Ornstein is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned their BA in Charles'story and Psychology.
