Heather Troup

Heather A. Troup is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Development at Pro Publica, Inc. since 2012, Troup has led initiatives to enhance donor engagement and organizational growth. Prior roles include Director of Development at Independent Diplomat, where Troup successfully tripled Board membership and developed essential Board materials, and Director of Development at Coro New York Leadership Center, focusing on alumni and corporate giving. Troup's experience also includes a significant tenure as Director of Law Firms, Corporations & the Annual Fund at Human Rights First, where Troup successfully increased Annual Fund Appeal income and corporate partnerships. Troup began the professional career as Director of Operations at CTI. Troup holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Detroit.
