Heather Vogell is an investigative reporter for ProPublica since February 2014, focusing on the intersection of business and politics. Prior experience includes a tenure at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution from 2005 to February 2014, and reporting roles at The Charlotte Observer, The Chicago Tribune, and The Day. In addition, Heather was a Spencer Fellow at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism during the 2012-2013 academic year. Educational qualifications include an MPA in Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Government, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University.
