Maya Miller is an experienced engagement reporter at ProPublica since August 2019, with a background in data and health journalism from Climate Central, Inc. and Measure of America. At Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, Maya served as a Data & Investigative Fellow, collaborating on significant investigations, and completed a Master of Arts in Journalism. Previous roles include online journalism fellow at WTTW/Chicago PBS, editorial intern at Chicago Tribune Media Group and The Century Foundation, and several internships focused on health and reporting at Wisconsin Health News and The Daily Cardinal. Maya holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
