David Parfitt

David Parfitt is a Senior Scientist at ProQR Therapeutics since November 2021, previously serving as a Researcher at Leiden University Medical Center from November 2019 to October 2021. With a background as a Research Associate at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology from April 2011 to October 2019, contributions include investigating intronic ABCA4 mutations in inherited retinal dystrophy, establishing iPSCs from patient-derived fibroblasts, and developing therapies for retinitis pigmentosa. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of York.
