Marieke Overeijnder

Marieke Overeijnder's work experience includes various roles at different companies. Marieke currently holds the position of VP Scientific Operations at ProQR Therapeutics since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DSM where they held several roles including Center Director for Enabling Innovation, Center Head Genetics, and Global Business Manager among others. Marieke also worked at Delft University of Technology as an Msc/Ir and Research technician.

Marieke Overeijnder studied Foundation in Management at TIAS School for Business and Society from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Msc./Ir. degree in Life Science & Technology from Delft University of Technology between 2004 and 2007. In 2006, they also conducted research on Cell Biology at Pasteur Institute Montevideo. Marieke completed their BAS degree in Life Science & Chemistry at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2001 to 2004.
