Serhat Tüysüz

Serhat Tüysüz is a Chemical Researcher at ProQR Therapeutics, where the focus is on addressing unmet medical needs related to genetic disorders since November 2021. Previously, Serhat worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Technician in In Process Control and as an Intern/Jr. Technician in Product Quality Management, gaining experience in quality control and commercial medicine production. An internship at Leiden University Medical Center involved research in the Ubiquitin Proteasome System under Professor Huib Ovaa, while an earlier role at the Nederlands Forensisch Instituut contributed to crime investigation efforts. Serhat holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Hogeschool Leiden and a MLO Niveau 4 degree in Physical Chemistry from ROC Leiden.
