Alison Schafer

Alison Schafer is PROREIT’s Senior Vice President, Finance, she joined the company in 2013.

Prior to PROREIT, Ms. Schafer was accounting director at Cominar REIT, overseeing the accounting function for the REIT’s entire portfolio, representing about $5.5 billion in investment properties. Prior to that, she was controller for Quebec operations. Prior to her time at Cominar, Ms. Schafer worked at CANMARC Real Estate Investment Trust, a publicly-traded REIT with a diversified national portfolio of commercial properties, after spending over a decade at Richter, a prominent Montreal-based accounting firm.

Ms. Schafer has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Education from McGill University (Montreal, Quebec) and received her CPA designation in 2003.
