Haluk Dogan began their professional career in 2008 as a Java Developer at Aradiom. Haluk then worked as a Data Scientist at GNA from August 2009 to March 2010. Following that, they were a Java Developer at i2i Systems from March to June 2010. In November 2010, Haluk joined Istanbul Bilgi University as a Teaching Assistant until September 2013. From September 2013 to May 2021, they worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Currently, Haluk is a Machine Learning Scientist and Software Engineer at Prorize LLC since May 2021.

Haluk Dogan has an extensive education history in the field of computer science. Haluk started their academic journey in 2006 at Istanbul Bilgi University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2010. During their undergraduate studies, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at Aarhus University in 2009, further expanding their knowledge in Computer Science.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Haluk pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 2011 to 2013. This advanced degree allowed him to delve deeper into the complexities of computer systems and engineering.

Driven by a passion for research and a desire to contribute to the field, Haluk then enrolled in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2018. Over the course of three years, from 2018 to 2021, they dedicated their efforts to earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. This prestigious degree demonstrates their expertise in the subject matter and highlights their commitment to advancing knowledge in the field.
