Labukun Kosefobamu has over 20 years of experience in IT project management and technical design. Labukun began their career in 2000 as a Technical Consultant at Atos Origin, where they managed and worked on a number of technology projects. In 2008, they joined BT Global Services as a Technical Design Architect, where they were part of a Midlands-based team for a multi-million pound project to migrate NHS IT Infrastructure from an old platform to a new BT-provided platform. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Medway PCT as an IT Operations Manager and Project Manager, where they were responsible for the deployment of the Electronic Prescription Service Release 2 in Medway. Labukun then worked as a Senior Project Manager Consultant at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, where they managed the full lifecycle of a project to implement an electronic prescribing system across two hospitals. Labukun then worked as a Senior Project Manager at South London CSU, where they managed a project for hardware refresh, deployment of over 6,000 PCs and rollout of Windows 7 across over 350 sites. In 2013, they joined Essentia Technology as an IT Project Manager, where they were responsible for the procurement of a new Maternity and Colposcopy System at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital. Labukun then worked at HCA International as a Project Manager from 2016 to 2020, where they managed various IT projects across the company’s facilities. Labukun is currently employed as a Senior Implementation Project Manager EMEA at Proscia since 2021.
Labukun Kosefobamu's education history includes a B.Sc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos (1991-1997), an M.Sc in Data Communication Systems from Brunel University London (1999-2000), a Practitioner certification in Prince 2 (no dates provided), a Practitioner certification in Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) (2011), and an Agile Project Management Practitioner certification (2013).
