Martha Karran has a long and varied work experience. Martha began their career in 2010 as a Student Intern at Safe Space NYC. In 2012, they worked as a Writing Center Tutor at Queens College and a Friendly Visitor at Sunnyside Community Services. In 2013, they were a Research Assistant at the Queens College Preschool Project. In 2014, they were a Research Assistant at the Exercise Laboratory. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Clinical Research Coordinator at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Clinical Research Coordinator (Project Manager) at Northwell Health. Currently, they are a Clinical Data Project Manager at Proscia and a Clinical Study Manager at CytoSorbents Corporation, where they co-led an FDA IDE pivotal trial and lead a study manager for an FDA EUA registry.
Martha Karran obtained an Advanced Regents High School Diploma from Stuyvesant High School. Martha then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Queens College in Psychology, Business and Liberal Arts. Currently, they are studying Data Analytics at Columbia University.
