Juan Ernesto Gamboa Mesén

Juan Ernesto Gamboa Mesén has a diverse work experience in the field of video editing and media production. Juan Ernesto currently serves as the Video Editor Lead at Prose on Pixels since April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Video Editor for the same company from July 2021 to April 2022.

Juan has also worked as a Freelance Video Editor for Independiente from January 2014 to July 2021. Juan Ernesto gained teaching experience as a Professor of New Information and Communication Technologies at Universidad San Judas Tadeo from January 2012 to April 2016.

In the past, Juan held the position of Editor at La Terminal Post from November 2009 to December 2013. Juan Ernesto also served as an Editor and Coordinator of the Editing, Television, and Radio Laboratory at Universidad San Judas Tadeo for a brief period in 2009.

Juan has further experience in the production and realization of radio programs. Juan Ernesto worked as a Production, Realization, and Presenter for the program "Casa de la Radio" at Radio Nacional de España as part of their radio master's mandatory internship from 2007 to October 2008.

Additionally, Juan has worked as an Editor and Assistant in the Digital Video Studio at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica from November 2006 to September 2007. Juan Ernesto also held the position of Editor at Media Works DTH during the same period.

In 2007, Juan briefly worked as a Professor of Digital Postproduction courses at Universidad Americana. Juan Ernesto started their professional journey in 2005 as a National Reporter Intern at Al Día.

Juan Ernesto Gamboa Mesén has a diverse education history. In 2005-2006, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Media Production at the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. Juan Ernesto also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism at the same university from 2002-2004. In 2001, Juan attended the Academia de Musica Bansbach for a short course in Electric Bass. In 2004, they obtained a Technical degree in Voiceover at the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje. Juan briefly studied Business Management at the Universidad de Costa Rica in 2000-2002 but did not complete the program.

Juan has also pursued several diploma programs and short courses in various fields. In 2011, they completed a diploma program in Postproduction with After Effects at ICAT. In 2013, they attended the Centro de Tecnología y Artes Visuales (CETAV) for a course in Color Correction with DaVinci Resolve. Juan also received a diploma in Independence, Dynamism, and Proximity from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2008. Additionally, they completed a Master's program in Radio at RTVE Instituto in 2007-2008.

In recent years, Juan has continued to enhance their skills through online courses. In 2021, they completed an Introduction to DaVinci Resolve for Color Correction course at Domestika. Juan Ernesto also pursued a Music + Audio Production in Logic Pro X course at UDEMI, specializing in music and audiovisual post-production.
