Mark Kollar brings 25 years of financial-markets experience to Prosek Partners. As a former reporter for Knight-Ridder, Dow Jones and Thomson Financial, Kollar knows the financial and business media landscape in New York and other cities in the US and overseas, where he has been assigned. Kollar’s experience in both public and investor relations has been in strategic counsel, crisis communications, media campaigns and in helping to build relationships between the client and key journalists.

Kollar is a strategist and a senior executor, working closely with clients to draft sensitive media and financial product releases, corporate positioning papers and thought-leadership pieces. He is extremely committed to his highly sophisticated group of financial and corporate clients, which include The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, GE Commercial Finance, Hamilton Lane, Edward Jones and First Reserve Corporation, to name a few.

Kollar also was a trader on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for many years in the stock-index and Eurodollar futures markets.

Originally from Chicago, Kollar is a graduate of DePauw University and the University of Chicago and is the author of “24-Hour Trading: The Global Network of Futures and Options Markets,” John Wiley & Sons, 1989.
