Erik Benke

Head Of Cash Management at ProShares

Erik Benke has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Erik began their career at Goldman Sachs as a Quantitative Trader, where they oversaw algorithmic-based trading systems and collaborated with financial engineers to develop new trading strategies. Erik then moved on to Invesco, where they worked as a Derivatives Trader, managing options positions for mutual funds. Currently, they are employed at ProShares, where they hold the roles of Head Of Cash Management and Portfolio Manager.

Erik Benke has a solid educational background in finance. Erik completed their undergraduate studies at Georgetown University from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on finance. Subsequently, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their degrees, Benke has also obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in August 1999.
