Erik M Dam

Erik M Dam has a diverse work experience ranging from roles in finance and controlling to management positions. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Financial Controller at Abba Seafood A/S, where they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reports. In 1996, they joined TDC as an Økonom, where they were involved in defining transfer pricing principles and financial calculations for collective bargaining.

Moving forward, from 1999 to 2002, Erik worked at APV Systems A/S as a Controller, responsible for cash management, ERP system development, and preparing and controlling business processes. Erik M then joined Alstom Power Flowsystems A/S in 2002 as a Group Business Controller, overseeing the controlling of 11 subsidiaries and participating in management projects.

In 2005, Erik started working at TERMA Group as a Finance Manager, where they became a strategic partner for colleagues in management and focused on business controlling. Erik M later became the Director of Group Controlling and was responsible for various financial activities, including production and project controlling, monthly reporting, and participating in cross-functional projects. During their tenure, they also developed an automatic forecasting and budgeting system.

Their most recent position is as a CFO at Proshop a/s, a role they started in 2017. As the CFO, Erik is responsible for finance, accounting, and controlling, and is a member of the management team. Erik M serves as a point of contact for auditors, insurance companies, payment service providers, and banks.

Throughout their career, Erik has accumulated extensive experience in finance, controlling, management, and strategic decision-making within various industries, demonstrating their strong analytical and leadership skills.

Erik M Dam pursued their education at Aarhus University from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Master's degree in Cand. oecon. Additionally, from 1993 to 1994, they attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) as an exchange student, focusing on finance.
