Lori M. Prosio has extensive experience in the field of public relations, marketing, and corporate communications. Lori M. currently holds the position of President/CEO at Prosio Communications, where they direct public relations, outreach, and marketing programs for various government agencies and private sector industries. Lori M.'sresponsibilities include developing community and stakeholder engagement programs, implementing public relations and marketing strategies, and supporting media relations activities.

Prior to their current role, Lori worked as a Senior Vice President & Corporate Officer at Katz & Associates, Inc. During their nine-year tenure, they successfully grew the Sacramento office, increasing annual revenue to over $5 million and establishing the company as one of the top PR firms in the region.

Before that, Lori served as the Corporate Marketing Director at Orckit Communications/Corrigent Systems, where they directed corporate communications and marketing efforts for an international telecommunication firm. Lori M. also managed external marketing activities, including website development, collateral design, public relations, and tradeshow management.

Lori began their career as an Account Manager at Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn, where they managed communication programs for consumer and state agency clients. Lori M. also gained experience in marketing and communications during their time as a Marketing Associate at London Pacific Life & Annuity and as a Marketing Intern at the Sacramento Kings.

Lori M. Prosio obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Studies from California State University-Sacramento, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Lori M. later pursued an MBA with a focus on Marketing at California State University-Dominguez Hills, completing their studies from 2001 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Lori M. Prosio has obtained several certifications related to business and entrepreneurship. In August 2015, they acquired the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification from the California Department of Transportation. During the same month and year, they also obtained the Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) certifications from Caltrans.
