Brad Schecter

Brad Schecter is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Proskauer Rose LLP since July 2017, after progressing from an Associate role. Prior experience includes an Associate position at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from October 2013 to May 2017, and a brief tenure as a Summer Associate at the same firm in mid-2012. Legal expertise was further developed through a legal internship at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in 2011. Additional early career experiences include internships and research positions at WITNESS and Asociación por los Derechos Civiles. Brad Schecter earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School, receiving the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Prize and recognition as a Kent Scholar, and holds a magna cum laude Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Studies from Yale University.
