Xavier Norlain

Xavier Norlain is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as a Partner at Proskauer Rose LLP since October 2023, Norlain previously held the position of Partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP from January 2022 to October 2023, and at DLA Piper from October 2012 to December 2021, where Norlain led the Corporate practice group in France and acted as Co-Country Managing Partner of the Paris office. Earlier career highlights include partnerships at Frieh Bouhenic and Frieh & Associés, as well as roles as Associate and Counsel at Latham & Watkins and Associate positions at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. Additional experience includes consulting at KPMG and working as a Market Analyst for Airbus Group. Norlain holds Master's degrees in Philosophy of Law and International Tax Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University and Paris-Sud University, respectively, and is an alumnus of HEC Paris and Lycée Pasteur.
