Producing Artistic Director at Prospect Musicals

Cara Reichel is a distinguished figure in the field of musical theater, currently serving as a Visiting Lecturer at Princeton University and co-teaching an Atelier Program course focused on theatrical adaptation. As the Producing Artistic Director of Prospect Theater Company, which Cara co-founded in 1998, Cara plays a crucial role in shaping seasonal artistic programming and securing funding for new musical theater developments. Additionally, Cara co-founded Nuova Musica, LLC, focusing on artistic project development and professional training in theater, music, and film. Through various teaching and directing roles, including a recent summer seminar at Princeton University and direction of the professional premiere of "The Hello Girls," Cara has made significant contributions to both artistic and educational realms in theater. An accomplished bookwriter, Cara was commissioned by Theatrical Rights Worldwide to create "The Olympians," an original jukebox musical highlighting female narratives.
