Carrie Wong

Carrie Wong is an experienced professional in community services and training, currently serving as Senior Manager of Community Services and Impact at Prosper Canada since September 2021. In this role, Carrie leads the learning and training strategy, focusing on financial empowerment initiatives for organizations addressing the needs of financially vulnerable populations. Previously, Carrie held various positions at Success Tutorial School, including Training and Development Coordinator, where oversight of staff training and performance was key, as well as School Coordinator, managing business operations across multiple campuses. Additional experience includes roles as a Mathematics and Science Teacher, Program Instructor at Markham Public Library, and Secondary Science Teacher at Thurston Community College. Carrie holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Animal Behavior and Ethology, Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education from Western University, specializing in science education.
