Simon Chercka

Simon Chercka began their work experience as a Digital Project Manager at SiteLoom CMS in 2009, where they worked on various online solutions for large Danish companies. Simon then moved on to Acto in 2013, where they managed digital projects for clients like Microsoft and Air Greenland. In 2016, they joined PETA as a Web Developer, collaborating remotely with a team to maintain and develop websites. In 2018, they worked as a React Frontend Developer at Q-Free ASA, working on frontend development for their Intelligent Traffic System. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Director of Information Technology at Prosper Insurance Group.

Simon Chercka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen in the years 2005 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in IT, specializing in Digital Design and Communication, at IT-Universitetet i København from 2008 to 2010. Simon also attended Køge Gymnasium (High School) from 1995 to 1998. In 2014, they received training in various subjects such as PHP, OOP, CSS, JavaScript, React, HTML, Git, WordPress, and UX through an e-learning platform called Team Treehouse.
