Mark Schmutz

Mark Schmutz has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in loan workouts and collections. Mark most recently worked at Prosperity Bank as the Senior Vice President - Special Assets Manager, where they managed a team responsible for handling commercial and consumer loan workouts, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and charge-off recoveries. Prior to that, they held various Vice President roles at NC Ventures, Metro Bank, Frost Bank, and Allied Bank/First Interstate Bank/Wells Fargo Bank, where they consistently achieved high levels of loan recoveries and successfully reduced commercial workout portfolios. Mark also has experience working with the Small Business Administration.

Mark Schmutz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Houston in 1987.
