Mustafa Syed

Mustafa Syed serves as the Security Operation Center Manager at Prosperity Bank since September 2021, where responsibilities include implementing corporate security standards, improving incident response processes, and conducting risk analysis. Previously, as the Cyber Security Lead at Schlumberger, Mustafa developed an Information Security Strategic Plan to enforce PCI compliance and enhance network visibility while managing incident responses and security controls. Prior roles include Senior Security Analyst and IT Site Lead at Cameron, where effective customer support was delivered and organizational efficiency was improved. Mustafa also led an IT team at BHZ Trading, Inc. and managed IT operations at U.S Globe Service Corp. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Karachi University, along with diplomas in Computer Science and Software Engineering. A CISSP certification is currently in progress.
